Leather + Materials

Making products that will last begins with the best materials and the confidence to reveal exactly what material goes into our designs and where it comes from.

Pueblo Leather

Italian Quality

Pueblo is a top quality Italian vacchetta leather made by the Badalassi Carlo tannery in Tuscany. It is widely regarded among the best leathers for small goods thanks to its semi-firm temper and vibrant colors.

Unique Appearance

Pueblo leather is finished at the tannery with a lightly applied scratch pattern that gives it a particular appearance and feel. It has a full aniline finish meaning the hide's natural surface has not been replaced with a topcoat or sealant.

Ages Beautifully

This unique leather develops a rich patina over just a few months of use giving your wallet or bag a beautiful timeless look and feel. You will notice the scratching texture smooth out slightly and the colors become deeper and more even over time.

Water Buffalo

Incredibly Strong with Natural Water Resistance

Our water buffalo hides come from the Arif and Sons tannery in India. They are tanned using a combination process that yields an incredibly durable and water resistant finished hide that will stand up to wear and tear.

‘Pull-up’ Colour Variation

‘Pull up’ is a feature in leather that causes the colour to lighten when it is stretched or pulled. Leathers are specifically treated to cause different amounts of pull up. Our water buffalo hides have a moderate pull up that shows off the vibrant colors of the hide

Tiger Thread

Ritza 25, commonly called simply 'Tiger Thread' is made by Julius Koch in Germany. It is a 100% poly thread meaning it stands up to long term wear and abrasion without fear of breakage. Ritza 25 is unaffected by common leather oils and protectants which can degrade natural fibres over time.
